Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Paragon International University, alongside RADICE, the Department of Computer Science, and industry partner Slash, recently hosted The Paragon of Tech Frontiers: Rising Engineers Exchange 2026 during the first week of August at the Paragon.U Main Campus. The two-day showcase and technical defense event successfully bridged classroom theory and real-world execution by putting emerging software engineering talent directly in front of active industry professionals.
Third-year Software Engineering students presented and defended their core course projects before panels of Technical Examiners, including Senior Engineers, Tech Leads, Engineering Managers, and Architects. Industry partners evaluated the projects across key operational benchmarks:
- Software architecture and code quality
- Deployment readiness and technical depth
- Real-world problem-solving and practical impact
For participating technology leaders, the exchange offered early visibility into top-tier talent while allowing engineering teams to evaluate how students justify architectural decisions under pressure. By providing direct, constructive feedback on student deployments, industry guests actively contributed to shaping future software engineering curricula to match modern tech demands.
