Paragon International University has announced its upcoming undergraduate scholarship examination for 27 June 2026, offering merit-based tuition waivers ranging from 25% to 100% to help talented and financially disadvantaged high school graduates access international-standard education in Phnom Penh.

The exam subjects depend on the major chosen by the students. For instance, majors under the Faculty of Administrative and Science (excluding International Relations, and Media and Communications Management), the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies require a Mathematics and IQ. Meanwhile, International Relations, and Media and Communications majors must pass a Social Science test. For fields like Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering, candidates are evaluated on Mathematics, IQ and Physics. After completing the first-stage online written exam, students will be invited for an in-person interview with the evaluation committee to finalize their scholarship awards.

Regarding the scholarship program, Dr. Bulat Akhmetkarimov, Rector of Paragon International University, emphasized its power to transform students’ academic and career futures. He noted that this long-standing exam assesses high school students preparing for graduation (Bac II), allowing them to pursue their dreams based on individual talent—a key initiative supported by the university and the Paragon corporation.
He added: “We want to ensure these scholarship quotas are awarded to students with high potential and ability. It is not an overly strict test, but rather a simple and standardized assessment of skills in mathematics, logic, physics, or general culture, depending on the major chosen by the applicant. I encourage all students to pursue their dream majors according to their true abilities, and I firmly believe that you can do it.”
Dr. Bulat added that Paragon International University remains committed to developing human capital for Cambodia and the region through various initiatives. He highlighted that the university offers multiple scholarship categories beyond the exam path, expressing pride in the institution’s 16-year history of developing local talent before wishing candidates good luck.

Dr. Deth Sok Udom, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Paragon Education Co., Ltd., similarly noted that the scholarship exam serves to evaluate students’ abilities in their desired fields, while the university provides these scholarship opportunities to support their educational and professional dreams.
Dr. Udom added: “This scholarship program aligns perfectly with our company’s vision and mission to cultivate and develop human resources in Cambodia from kindergarten through post-graduate levels. This includes empowering high school students moving to Phnom Penh to access an international-standard institution based on their merits, regardless of any financial constraints.”
Please note that the university is accepting scholarship applications from now until June 24, 2026. The examination is scheduled for June 27, 2026, and candidates can register via this link: https://paragonu.link/scholarship.
