Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Paragon International University organized a Career Fair 2026 event in collaboration with many leading companies and enterprises, with the participation of numerous students. The event aimed to provide students with opportunities to learn more about the job market, prepare for future careers, and establish direct relationships with employers and leading companies.

The Career Fair 2026 was organized as a full-day event on 26 June 2026, at Paragon International University, with the participation of many leading companies and enterprises in Cambodia, such as WOWNOW, ISI Group, Maybank, KPMG, AIA, Indomie, and Vattanac, along with more than 60 other companies. These companies came to promote their organizations and employment opportunities to nearly one thousand students, allowing them to learn about potential careers and establish direct connections with employers.

Meanwhile, a representative of Mega Asset Management Co., Ltd., of OCIC Group, one of the participating companies, praised the organization of the career fair, noting that it allowed the company to expand its network and establish direct connections with students while identifying potential candidates for the organization.

The company representative added: “I have noticed that young people and students are very interested in learning about job opportunities, asking questions about companies, and actively participating in the program. I would like to advise students to prepare themselves well by developing practical skills and gaining experience, as well as being responsible and willing to learn, in order to be ready for the Cambodian job market.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Shirley Ng, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, expressed her appreciation for this year’s job fair, describing it as a special program that provides opportunities for students and employers to interact and build mutual understanding. The event also enables students who aspire to pursue their dream careers to become better prepared by receiving sufficient information about those professions.

She continued: “Many participating companies were impressed and delighted by the students’ efforts, preparation, and enthusiasm toward their career goals. I observed that our students gained a more detailed understanding of jobs, company expectations, labor market needs, as well as workplace environments and cultures during this fair. In addition, the companies shared job and recruitment information with the students, which may lead to internship opportunities in the future.”

The vice rector added that the university aims to organize programs that serve students’ interests, such as job fairs, which help students become better prepared for the increasingly competitive job market while also contributing to the development of capable human resources for the nation.

The Career Fair team highlighted that in 2026, the university drew upon previous experiences to make the program run more smoothly, including improvements in transportation arrangements, collaboration with participating companies, and the program agenda to benefit both students and employers. Approximately one thousand students participated in the event.

Similarly, Dr. Bulat Akhmetkarimov, Rector of Paragon International University, emphasized that the program provides a favorable environment connecting students with the labor market system, allowing them to gain a broader understanding of future career opportunities and social trends in rapidly growing industries. Meeting with employers can also provide students with a clearer roadmap for pursuing their careers beyond classroom education.

He continued: “The program contributes to human resource development by aligning students’ capabilities with the actual demands of the labor market. It is an opportunity for students to understand the changing labor market and adapt to these developments. This exhibition promotes relationships among educational institutions, human resource training, and industrial companies in order to bridge existing gaps and further enhance human resource capabilities.”

The rector further encouraged young people and students to continuously develop their skills in the era of the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution, particularly in areas such as critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and lifelong learning. In this direction of human resource development, he stated that the university is always ready to partner with companies and enterprises to nurture talented individuals with the capabilities and creativity needed to contribute to the rapid evolution of society and the future development of Cambodia.
