Biography

Ms. Vichera HEANG is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and a member of the Academic and Executive Boards at Paragon International University. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Gazi University, Turkey, and dual undergraduate degrees in Interior Architecture and English Language from Cambodia.

At the heart of her professional identity is a commitment to service and global connectivity. She also serves as a board member at the Architects Association Khmer (AAK).

Throughout her academic journey, Vichera has participated in numerous exchange programs across various Asian countries, enhancing her knowledge and exposure to different cultures. She gained hands-on professional experience as an interior designer and architect, working on diverse projects in Cambodia.

Transitioning into academia, Vichera established herself as an architecture lecturer at multiple universities in Phnom Penh, sharing her expertise and nurturing aspiring architects. Her leadership capabilities were quickly recognized, leading to her appointment as the Head of the Architecture Department. 

Her research focuses on sustainability and traditional Cambodian houses, aiming to integrate traditional elements into contemporary designs while preserving Cambodia’s cultural heritage.

Currently, as Dean of the Engineering Faculty, Ms. Vichera HEANG plays a vital role in shaping the academic landscape and contributing to the architectural industry in Cambodia. Her achievements, educational background, and dedication to sustainability make her a respected figure in the field.
