Dr. Sa Math

Biography

Dr. Sa Math earned his BS in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2018, and completed his PhD in Software Convergence at Soonchunhyang University, Republic of Korea, in 2022, specializing in softwarization, virtual networking, and QoS/QoE engineering for next-generation mobile networks. His doctoral research focused on autonomous networking and resource management for SDN/NFV-based 6G TSN services.

Since 2022, he has served as a Telecommunication Networking Specialist at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC), where he plays a key role in national digital infrastructure and connectivity initiatives, including 5G roadmap development, government network architecture, spectrum efficiency planning, and network security frameworks. He also contributes to major government projects related to digital services, next-generation mobile networking technologies, and 5G deployment for both public and industrial applications.

In parallel, he is a senior R&D collaborator at the Mobile Computing and Networking Lab of Soonchunhyang University, working on AI-driven models for 5G/6G networks. His research spans next-generation mobile networking (NGMN), QoS/QoE, traffic engineering, O-RAN, network softwarization, virtualization, and edge computing. He has published more than 50 research articles in high-impact journals and conferences, including IEEE, Springer, MDPI, and Hindawi, and serves as a peer reviewer for several leading international ICT journals. Dr. Math has received multiple international research awards, including Best Paper Awards from APIC-IST, ICSMB, and Korea Internet Information conferences.
