Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Paragon International University recently hosted a landmark welcoming event for its School of Graduate Studies (SGS), bringing together university leadership, faculty, and students to celebrate academic excellence and foster professional community ties.

The proceedings commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Bulat Akhmetkarimov, Rector of Paragon International University. In his remarks, Dr. Akhmetkarimov emphasized the university’s unwavering commitment to providing an advanced class environment for research and professional development, specifically tailored to the needs of graduate-level scholars.

Following the Rector, Dr. Kashif Hasan Khan, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, delivered opening remarks that underscored the critical importance of graduate education in addressing modern global challenges. He highlighted the SGS’s pivotal role in shaping the next generation of leaders and innovators within Cambodia and across the region.


A key highlight of the morning was a comprehensive presentation by Mr. Julien Lussiez, MBA Program Coordinator. Mr. Lussiez provided an in-depth look at the School of Graduate Studies’ recent milestones, noting the school’s expanding footprint and growing reputation within the international academic community.



The focus then shifted toward community building, providing a dedicated space for current and incoming students to engage directly with faculty and university leadership. This interactive session fostered an environment of mutual respect and shared purpose, allowing students to establish meaningful relationships with the mentors who will support their academic and professional journeys.




The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing the spirit of the diverse and growing SGS family, before transitioning into a vibrant Networking Lunch further solidifying the bonds within the Paragon International University graduate community.
