Biography

Ratana SOTH is a seasoned IT professional with over 18 years of expertise in software development and systems administration, covering both cloud infrastructure and monolithic environments such as Windows and Linux servers. Proficient in web technologies, web security, and various frameworks, he brings advanced technical knowledge to both the academic and professional sectors.

As a Lecturer for the Faculty of ICT at Paragon International University, Ratana SOTH excels at simplifying complex technological concepts, fostering a deep understanding among students. He also serves as the Cloud Server Lab Manager, integrating cutting-edge cloud technologies into research and learning environments, and preparing students for real-world challenges.

In addition to his academic roles, Ratana SOTH is the Director of RaDiCe (Applied Research and Development Initiative Center), where he leads innovative applied research projects. His experience spans both public and private sectors, having served as National IT Consultant for the Ministry of Commerce, IT Consultant at HBS Law, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Mekong Market Co., Ltd., and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at BNG Legal before joining ParagonIU.

Ratana SOTH holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Norton University (2007) and a Master of Science in IT Engineering from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Information Technology at Lincoln University College, Malaysia. He brings extensive academic knowledge combined with strong practical expertise to his professional roles.
