Prof. Dr. Osman Koroglu earned his BA in 1999 with a capstone thesis on e-commerce, followed by an MA in Mobile Communication and Interactive Media in 2002. He completed his PhD in 2009 with a dissertation focused on permission-based mobile marketing. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014 and became a Full Professor in 2019.
He currently serves as a faculty member at Epoka University, where he teaches marketing, human resource management, knowledge and project management, and sales. His broader academic background also includes instruction in communication, advertising, public relations, media studies, television, sociology, and journalism.
His research interests span artificial intelligence, extended reality (XR), spatial computing, emerging media technologies, and digital marketing. Before entering academia, he accumulated a decade of professional experience (1998–2008) as an ICT reporter, editor, and consultant, and he served as a NATO KFOR Psychological Operations and radio programmer in 2003.
