First Higher Education Forum, a Road Map for Higher Education Development 2030

On July 11, 2013 The First Higher Education Forum, a Road Map for Higher Education Development 2030, was held by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia. Mr. Sezai KARAOSMANOGLU, Secretary General of Paragon International University and Dr. Ramazan AKBAS, Director of the Office of Public Relations, participated in the forum. Mr. Sezai submitted a presentation about Paragon International University.

Test Your English

Paragon International University is going to hold its Proficiency Exam on 25th September at 08:00am at the Zaman University campus. Students who are interested in sitting for this free of charge exam should register their names by calling 023/017 996 111.

Those who successfully obtain a passing mark on the Proficiency Exam are permitted to register directly for foundation year classes.

Best Concrete Contest 2013

The Best Quality Concrete’13 competition aimed to encourage interest and raise competence in construction materials among Paragon International University students. It offers stimulating challenge to students, while supporting the curricula of Civil Engineering Department at Paragon International University. The main benefit for a student was being able to improve his/her knowledge in construction material course, which plays important role in professional life.

International Culture Festival at Paragon International University

The Academic Support Unit (ASU) of Paragon International University organized an “International Culture Festival” on the 8th June 2013, in order to enhance the awareness of the importance of the diversity of cultures. During the festival, representatives of a number of different cultures who study at Paragon International University performed some facts and figures about their countries and performed their traditional dances and songs. They also established culture corners of their countries to exhibit their traditional clothes, costumes, symbols, and souvenirs.

A Cultural Field Trip to Siem Reap and Preah Vihear Provinces

From 24th to 26th of May, 90 students and a number of staff of Paragon International University joined a cultural field trip to Siem Reap and Preah Vihear provinces. During the first day, the group visited Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prom temples. On the second day, everyone also enjoyed the trip to the Preah Vihear Temple with its spectacular landscapes. On the way back to Phnom Penh, all students and staff also got a chance to visit Koh Ker, an ancient temple-city complex dating back to the 10th century. During the entire trip, Dr.

Paragon International University Organized Fundraising Concert

The Academic Support Unit (ASU) of Paragon International University organized a fund-raising concert on 23rd May 2013; a showcase of musical talents from students.

The main purpose of this event was to support and draw attention to aid and needs of the less-privileged members of our community.

Paragon International University we will keep on organizing similar benefit programs in the coming years as well.

High School Trips 2013

Paragon International University organized a school trip program and invited grade 12 students and teachers from several high schools between May 17 and May 23.

During the visits, students and teachers were given a guided tour with a host, printed materials, and an informative presentation about the university. The emphasis was to allow the students and teachers an opportunity to see the university operating. Additionally, students received valuable guidance to help them choose the right academic major and the right university.

North American University Transfer Program 2013

In an effort to promote higher education, expand educational opportunities for students, and promote joint efforts in providing affordable educational services, a student transfer program is designed for Paragon International University students who want to complete their studies at North American University (NAU) in Houston, Texas. This transfer program is only available to students studying in BUS, BAF or CS departments, and only sophomore students can apply to this transfer program. The application deadline is June 30, 2013.

Scholarships covers tuition fees but not the registration fee.

Paragon International University Provides Scholarship to Smart Students

Paragon International  University representatives attended an award ceremony for Smart Student examination winners in Battambang Province on Sunday, 7th April 2013.

Paragon International  University rewarded each of the three winners with an Ipad4, plus scholarships ranging from 50% to 100% for the first 40 students according to their rankings.
