On 10th February 2019, Paragon International University hosted a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between Paragon Education Co., LTD and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) based in Canada with the honorary presence of H.E. Chuon Naron HANG, Minister of Education and H.E. Donica POTTIE, Canadian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
H.E. Sophalleth EANG, Honorary Chairman of the Paragon Education Co., LTD expressed his gratitude to the Canadian partner for the cooperation between the two higher-learning institutions. H.E. Sophalleth said that the collaboration between Paragon Education Company Limited as well as its Paragon International University and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology could offer students of both institutions an opportunity to study abroad between Canada and Cambodia.
A representative from SAIT attended the signing ceremony and shared with ParagonIU students about the quality of education at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. She said that the institute has over 100 years of history. She continued by saying that SAIT offers its students an up-to-date curriculum with changes and is committed to producing a workforce with digital skills through support from instructors with industry experience.
Her Excellency Donica POTTIE was excited to see the collaboration between the two learning institutions, which represents the cooperation on a national level between Canada and the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Minister of Education, H.E. Chuon Naron HANG, expressed his belief in and support of student exchanges between the two countries so that Cambodian students could be competitive in a highly digitalized job market.
